I think it was actually due to the Walworth Co. Police, who shot and killed the suspect. Terrible situation for everyone involved.

I meant quick work by KPD in a sense that they got the word out and took the threat serious enough.

Kudos to the Walworth County Police department for taking care of this so quickly. The way it ended was sad, but the ended in probably the best way possible(when the entire story is played out).

I hate to sound insensitive but:

 

1: You abduct your child

 

2: pull a gun when police approach you

 

You probably deserve to get shot. Maybe that's just me... we'll see how the story plays out. Thankfully the child wasn't harmed...

Ray, not just pulled a gun, but pointed it at the child after he said over the phone "the next time you see us, we will have 2 bullets in our heads". The cops did the right thing IMO.
