What? Some Cards fans over on that forum are saying we are bushleague because we untuck our jersies right after the game is over. Talk about overreacting. I think they are just a little angry we took the first two games the way we did..

A little worried the Brewers might get baited into a bean brawl tonight. Hall really ticked off some Cards fans down here. Some talk he stared and spit toward the Cards dugout both nights.

Funny...I was just coming here to post that my immediate thought last night was that Billy, or possibly Prince or Braun is going to take one in the ribs tonight, when I saw your post. Were I a betting man, I'd be willing to bet someone gets hit. Actually, at some point, as he usually does, LaRussa will strike first to the point of potentially getting both benches warned so he can get a free one, because not only is a he a miserable...he's a bit of a coward as well. That might be tough tonight though, unless they warn both benches after the first strike. More likely scenario is that he gets it started tonight, and then plunks Braun in the first tomorrow which would undoubtedly draw a warning, and put Sheets in a tough spot.

With Sabathia on the mound I would tend to doubt that.

 

As dumb as some think Yost is, he's not going to risk getting Sabathia ejected in stupid bean ball brawl.

May not be up to him...A guy like Sabathia is going to do what he thinks is best, and Ned most likely will (and should) let him. Especially being the new guy. Some still like to complain about the Cardinal's series at the end of last year, but there is no doubt in my mind that situation has some level of impact on the way this team is playing for eachother and for Ned today. I don't think anyone would disagree that this team is a tight group constantly looking out for eachother. I don't see any way Ned stops the players from 'seeking justice' if they think its warranted.

And Sabathia isn't stupid, he knows what each game means, so I can't see him doing something to get himself ejected.

 

I'd be fine with a one-for-one beaning if that's all it comes down to.

This is insane. I'm so giddy over this team that I can't sleep right now. Instead of trying to sleep, I'm coming on here at 3 a.m. I love the Brewers.

 

I never imagined this series going this way, I figured we'd be lucky to steal one of the first two. Now I'm worried for the last two games. Paranoia is setting in, I'm not used to this.
