I've defended Rickie and I think he should be starting.

However, baserunning mistakes really bother me.

Please stop ripping on Weeks.

No.

Without him, we would have lost the first two games of this series.
How does that excuse his mental blunders in this game---and every other? This is his 4th season, and I'm sick of seeing him make rookie mistakes.

Braun would have gotten and infield single off the glove of a defender and Fielder would have been hit, had Weeks never been picked off? I hate giving away outs on the base paths as much as anyone else but we have no idea how that inning would have played out. No one does.

Thank you mr. optimist - giving up outs on the bases is like attempting to sac bunt with nobody on base, it cripples an offensive inning. Sure there's no way to tell what would have occurred that inning, so why don't we assume that instead of the inning end with failures by Brewer hitters that the extra out would have led to a rally? Your argument goes both ways.

I agree, we don't know if the Brewers would have actually scored or not. However, getting picked off is still giving away a "free" out, which affects the rest of the inning, along with Looper's pitch count and the overall momentum of the game (if you believe in momentum).

I also hate when announcers say "that would have been a (hit/double/HR) in any other park..."

DougJones43, let me take a moment to commend your avatar. It sums up nicely my feelings whenever Guillermo is warming up.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

A rare moment where Ned actually got thrown out of the game at a time where he needed to do that.

He argued a (bleep) call from a ego-driven umpire. Absolutely ridiculous. It's as if there is no supervision of these clowns with how they act on the field.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

hope the strike zone doesn't completely shrink when we're on the mound now after that ejection. Yikes.

Yost should have been ejected for that. The ump didn't call for help and Prince wasn't even close to going. Then the ump goes all ego. Umpire = a bum.
