Tickets to sold out games

Posted

Is there a good way to get tickets for games that are sold out? I am interested in going to one of the Nationals games and all the tickets are standing room only. Not too interested in that.

Don't really want to pay scalper prices

I'd check into ebay, usually you can get decent seats for a reasonable price. Really your only other option is to wait and see if more seats get released closer to the game. Sometimes seats not used by the visiting team get released back into the system, but those are usually field level seats so they would be expensive as well.

Even Craigslist has gotten crazy. I was on there last night looking for a single for the day game Thursday and there's not much close to face value. Granted its the Cubs, but the Brewers are actually becoming a tough ticket.

For the choice seats, StubHub. You normally buy directly from the actual Season Ticket Holder.

Of course there's an associated price premium for this MLB partnered service, but very, very little chance for mischief.

I'll 3rd stubhub. I got primo seats for the Thursday game in St. Louis at under face. You just need to check for a while and wait for a good deal to appear.
