These two teams could play some epic slow-pitch softball games. Or how about giving the hitters metal bats? You'd have to put the pitchers behind a screen so they aren't dismembered by comebackers, but it'd be awfully fun to watch.

Why would you pitch around Dunn with the bases empty? So he hits a solo home run...big deal...I'd rather pitch to him and count on one of his 200 K's than one of his 45 HR's...

I wouldn't have any confidence in my craptastic bullpen, either, Jerry, but it'd probably be a good idea not to run Bronson into the ground on a night when he isn't exactly at his sharpest.

I thought it was absurd to let him finish the last inning... now they let him hit with the tying run in scoring position in the 6th inning, and are letting him continue to pitch with 111 pitches?
