I consumed so much alcohol this weekend (including my trip to Miller Park yesterday) that I simply cannot put anymore strain on my liver. This game will drive me to drink again so I'm turning it off.

Yeah, that non-play was pretty much what kick started this big inning. He really sucks at picking low throws. It might be easier to overlook chunk-o-butt's defensive liability if he was mashing, but he's really not even hitting that well.

I am still going to find a way to blame this on Gagne.. he is a human anchor on a team's momentum. The silver lining is that he seems to force a team to build character that comes in handy in the playoffs (see Boston 2007) provide a team can get there and refuse to pitch him in the playoffs.

A high scoring affair requires putting the ball in play when there are runners in scoring position. Not something I'm expecting to see a lot from this group with their approaches again lately.

It's really pathetic that you can have runners on 1st and 2nd to start an inning with your 4-5-6 hitters coming up against a guy making his major league debut and do nothing with it. Well done Crew. This is obviously a team that couldn't care less if they win the division or not, just make it to the playoffs right Brewers?? Way to settle for less than you are capable of.
