The Cubs are dead last with runners in scoring position and 2 out with a .208 BA. We're only ahead of them and Oakland with a .211 BA. 5th to last in OBP, 7th to last in SLG. We're pretty bad. lol

Suppan is going to become an albatross soon. I said he was getting hammered before he started giving up runs and it's not surprising that he is now giving up runs.

Cripes, I can't believe this organization suckered me into sending them thousands of dollars for playoff tickets again.

Yes, I'm cynical.

Yes, I'm old and cranky.

Yes, I realize it's only the 5th innings and we're still leading the WC.

But, it's been really frustrating watching the last few games.

UGH. Ryan Braun makes me want to type things that aren't allowed here. I have absolutely no confidence in him when he comes up with guys on base.

His numbers with RISP are solid, i just wish he'd be more willing to take a few pitches in that spot. Braun just gets so excited that he'll hack at nearly everything, even if the bases are loaded to where he could make the pitchers throw Ryan a pitch he likes.

Yeah, I know his numbers with RISP are good so I shouldn't have this irrational fear of him coming up with guys on, but for whatever reason, I still lack confidence in him. It probably has to do with his lack of patience, and it's probably a little irrational. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Imagine how good the Brewers' pitching staff would look if they had that kind of infield defense. Hard to beat a team when you can't get a ground ball through the infield.

Our offense looks like it is sleepwalking through this game against Estes.

I know things are never as bad as they seem, but this homestand to date is pretty pathetic.

dude is playing one hell of a 3rd base tonight

That's what happens when your team is in a funk, Estes turns into a ground ball machine, Kouzmanoff turns into a Gold Glover, and we strand mass amounts of runners. It just starts feeling like a big black cloud is hanging over the team and no break will go our way.
