It might have been a very spectacular play, but not because he made a good catch.

 

He dropped the ball and got lucky that it bounced off his chest a few times. That's a play that Junior Spivey would make without leaving his feet.

 

Luck is definitly on Castillo's side this week.

Moeller hit a popup in between Castillo and Burnitz in right. Castillo ran out and dove while sticking out his glove, and the ball hit his webbing and came out. As Castillo rolled on the ground, the ball rolled around on his stomach as he was tumbling, and while sliding, he still had the concentration to grab the ball with his glove. It'll be on Sportscenter/Baseball Tonight, so look for it there.

A good comparison to the Castillo's catch is that it was similar to Antonio Freeman's catch on Monday Night Football against the Vikings, except this was with a baseball.

this is truly the way to watch Pirates broadcasting.. i'm at school right now and there are no speakers hooked up.
