Dotel for Davies?

Just saw on ESPN that all the Braves are giving for Dotel is Kyle Davies. KYLE DAVIES?

 

Would think they would jump at Zack Jack for Dotel.

That was the whole point. If we could get in there, maybe we could bolster the pen.

Davies is still only 23 and has potential. Plus, Kansas City's GM came from Atlanta's front office, where he dealt with the farm system a lot (he might've been their farm director, but I'm not positive on that fact)...it's possible that he's more comfortable getting a guy like Davies than a guy like Zach Jackson because he knows what he's getting.

 

Dotel would've been nice, but I would've been pretty irritated if the Brewers traded away another starting pitching prospect for a reliever who's headed to free agency after 2 months.
