FYI, Doug has said Yo may well join the bullpen this year IF HE CONTINUES TO DEVELOP.

 

Given his sub 1 WHIP and 12 K/9 ratio, I'd say he'll be up one way or another by 7/1.

The new thread is discussing a possible deal for Greinke, the old thread had 25 solid posts on the subject...why not blend them into one?

 

I'm not telling the new poster that he's done something wrong by starting his thread, I'm showing him what others have said about Greinke, and allowing all of us to pick up the conversation from the new post.

I can't see Gwynn as even an option. They already have a speedy CF that they went out and acquired in Joey Gathright.

I'd welcome a deal for Greinke, but I'd see him strictly as a bullpen arm for the remainder of the season. I can't see him as an upgrade for the rotation at the moment.

 

I would imagine the Royals would want at least one young arm, would people here for Parra for Greinke?
