Braun becomes the 4th Brewer to have a 9 HR month

Braun hit his 9th home run this month. He joins Fielder, Hardy, and Hart who have also had 9+ home run months this year.

 

Have the Brewers ever had 4 different players have a 9 HR month in the same year?

 

This decade, the only players to hit 9 or more in a month were Lee 2x, Sexson 4x, Jenkins once. But I'm not sure before then.

No, the Brewers have never before had four 9-HR months in the same year. They had three in both 1982 and 1979, with Gorman Thomas accounting for two in each year. Thomas has the most Brewer career 9-HR months with six.

Braun now 9 for the month, 16 for the season. I would say damn good chance he throws up 30 in his rookie year. That is awesome. And he missed almost two whole months. I think hes a 45 to 50 HR guy in a full season. His talent is scary.

This reminds me of the time someone told me Braun's power was just average and that i shouldn't expect him to hit more than 20-25 homers...told me he was a 50 on the 80 power scale...
