Yeah, walking Ortiz is a bad, bad omen

Hadn't heard they were doing a new Major League movie until the Astros announcers said that Ueck told them that last night

Manny's a headcase. If he could stay poised in the face of a little adversity, he'd be the legit #2 or 3 pitcher so many expect him to be.

To be fair, he'd have gotten out of the inning with the lead intact if Rickie hadn't gotten the error

I, also, was a little surprised he didn't totally melt down after the long El Caballo RBI-single though

That's my conclusion on extremely limited information as well. Not too much mental toughness.

Some heavy storms in the area. Disrupts the digital trasnmission to the head-end. With analog you get fuzz, when digital drops below a certain level, you get pixels, then nothing.

Looks like we'll be in for another wild one. I personally can't wait to get the heck out of Houston, but hopefully the Brewers can find a way to steal one.

I like that Macha is PH with Hardy here. Yost always seemed to refuse to use a guy on a day off. 1 AB and then sitting back on the bench does not invalidate a day off somehow Ned~.

Don't like removing Manny this early. There are many more runs to be scored. Worried about going to our pen and know that we can tag their pen for a few more this game, even if not this inning.

Macha doing a double switch?

Parra had thrown 97 pitches and his control wasn't as sharp the last 2 innings. I think that was a good time to PH for him for sure.

I guess you're probably right. On top of that, I guess the pen is somewhat rested considering they were barely worked on thursday and not at all on Friday. I would've left Hardy in and taken out Counsel. He's smoking the ball, just unlucky.
