Balfour, Stetter, Capellan for....

 

a LOOGY to join Shouse and young talent at a need position that will justify the trade in the years to come...

 

Mahay and Teagarden of TX

 

With this Spurling rejoins Aquino, SBray, Salas, Thatcher, Sarfate, and the host of others and Shouse gets to close 4-0 games vs. the Cubs instead of D-Bow...

Teagarden has been hurt forever and still is..

 

since you aren't offering them anything of real value, this trade won't hurt the brewers, but i don't really see texas taking it...

Earlier I floated BClark for Breslow and the idea was to get another arm (ultimately it was Elmer) and a LOOGY to expand upon Shouse's ability...kinda the point here...

 

GMs have shown that they are not going to tie teams to one player and if Mahay fails then there is another variable to the trade. Teagarden was highly sought after out of UT and yes, his elbow hurts...but a clean bill of health would mean giving up more than 3 relievers...

 

anywho...you see the direction of the deal...it is this type that will get done...book it.
