Nice article on Difelice's 82 MPH Filth

He's actually (aside from Weeks) probably the best story on the Brewers this year. Hopefully he can keep up his amazing streak and keep up the k-to-BB ratio. Edit: On another note, Passan is typically hit-or-miss for me, but when he writes well he really writes well. I could have blue-tinted glasses on since he's saying nice things about one of our guys, but the article isn't bad.

I read that one as well. It was had a humorous, almost incredulous tone, while still complimenting the guy. I really love stories of perseverance like his.

His quotes are great, and the exchange with Edinson Volquez was funny too.

Wow, never thought I'd see Mark DiFelice on the Yahoo front page:

Although the yahoo front page had a video of a cat jumping out of a cardboard box yesterday.

[InsomniacInkRoss]

The cat jumping out of the box was a few days ago, yesterday was the squirrel who couldn't quite jump up on a ledge

Of course this article is "featured" the day he gets tagged for a few runs, damn you Yahoo! news curse

[The Heartbreak Yid]

Sounds like former White Sox clser Shingo Takatsus one unhittable out pitch. The problem with a ball in the low 80s is once the hitters start catching up to it, it probably doesnt stay in the yard.

Yahoo cycles through their front page. Matt Kain's picture shows that DiFelice was on the front page, that's why the left tab "featured" is a different color than the other tabs.

Unless you are saying that making the front page isn't impressive, because they have wacky animals on the front page.

Eitherway, I think it's neat that he got this attention, even if he has to share it with Animal Viral Video of the Day.

[Mr QL]

Yahoo and the pregame interview totally jinxed Mark last night.

And now Tony Gwynn Junior gets a Yahoo front page article? I'm hoping to see Rob Deer next...
