have an 8 run lead to start the inning with the Marlins only having 1 hit and the Marlins have the tying run at the plate

That was about 50x more unlucky than anything Parra did. Loop had a lead and pitched strikes, most of them pretty decent. They just fell in and Looper made the one defensive mistake.

Well they were all bound to come back to Earth eventually, but I don't think anyone could see them regressing back to the mean this quickly.
