Harper's Island...

Am I the only one here completely addicted to this TV show? It's like being 9 hours into a 13 hour sometimes corny, often unbelievable, yet extremely entertaining suspense/thriller! If you are curious, you can catch up at the CBS website. This Saturday is episode 10.

We like it but find it interesting that nobody seems to know people are actually missing...we have the last three epi's on the dvr waiting to view

While in Vegas and killing an hour, me and my wife did the CBS show preview. Harpers Island was the show that they had us review. They showed us the pilot and in my rating I said that I wouldnt have made it 5 minutes into the show. After watching it the only thing I could think was that the writers had just watched "Scream", "I know what you did last summer" or even "Scary movie" and just took elements of each. Also it is like they went down the genre checklist for characters, strong female(check), male protagonist(check), loner(check), slutty and/or stuck up rich girl(check), effeminite male comic relief(check), clueless police(check) and so on.

I've been watching it although I've yet to watch the latest episode. There are worse ways to kill an hour, but I don't think I'd watch it when it airs on Saturday nights. That's why God invented DVRs. CrewDood, they eventually find out that people are getting killed off, and it becomes a much better show at that point.
