through the mail question

i have been thinking of picking up a bunch of 8x10 and sending them to minor league parks to get autos. has anyone else done this? do you send an extra addressed envelope for return with the postage on it? should i send to multiple players on the same team in the same envelope? does writing a letter to go along with the pic help? any input would be great. thanks- Kevin
