  1. Excited to see what Jason Munsch can do. Small sample and small pond but his 2020 stat line is filthy.
  2. Man, I just gave away like 20k commons a few months ago.
  3. If (and when) the cardinals get arenado, I am going to be really mad.
  4. The only non tender that bums me out is jimmy. If he gets back on track next year, it can really come back to bite us.
  5. A (should be 2 time) mvp and the best reliever in baseball should catch enough to build a solid foundation for years to come. Realistically, you should get 2 solid rotation pieces and a couple Starting position players at least for them.

  7. Might as well blow it up. Trade hader, yeli, and Cain to rebuild. We got spoiled with a short rebuild a couple years ago. Time to fix the farm. I don’t know what sterns is doing but I trust him. It’s kinda like “let’s see what happens in a couple years”.
  8. Payton Henry is a beast! He’ll be climbing up a LOT of charts this season.
  9. I was nearly positive Arenado was going to be a yankee next year. So excited he’s staying in Colorado. He’s my favorite non-brewer and was not looking forward to him being in New York.
  10. With this sizable increase in payroll, does this pretty much take us out of trading for a Bumgarner or Kluber?
  11. Just for S&Gs I was reading through the comments on MLBtraderumors about this rumor. The evaluations of MadBums trade value runs the full gamut from “Ray would be an overpay” to “the brewers don’t have enough prospects to get a trade done”. One even suggested Ray, Erceg, and Jeffress or Knebel. I think if Ray gets it done, do it. One year of control for our #2 prospect is a tough pill to swallow but there’s always the QO and if he does well and likes it in Milwaukee maybe he’ll do an extension for a couple years.
  12. I started to read this thinking “bunch of stats about a newer prospect that I haven’t really heard of compared to our latest first round pick” and immediately knew who wrote it. I appreciate your insight on prospects that fly under the radar Clancy. Look forward to seeing if either of these kids work out.
  13. I was really hoping his name was spelled “Benn” to balance out Mat. This made me laugh out loud.
  14. Everyone that bought discount mat gamel shirzees are happy!
  15. Has Tulo even said that he’d be willing to play 2b or 3b? Last I heard he said if he couldn’t play ss, he’d retire.
  16. I think it’s a good signing but it’s pretty insane to shell out 11 mil for what you’d hope is a “bounce back year”.
  17. I was really expecting him to get a 2 year deal around 25-30mil. One of the good guys in the sport for sure. Pretty nice final contract for him. Any word on a no trade clause?
  18. Baines?.......But Ted Simmons still isn’t in? Lee Smith doesn’t bother me.
  19. I think there’s probably a better chance Santana would be the centerpiece of a trade for Bauer. Which I’d be cool with.
  20. Marlins added Yamamoto to their 40-man today as well.
  21. I would be all for a Schoop for Gray swap! Gray didn’t seem to like the high pressure in NY. I’d bet a move to Milwaukee would make him much more comfortable and he’d be back to his Oakland form.
  22. Whenever it’s time to make the lists, the first thing I do is look for Clancy’s list.
  23. Just read on mlbtr that Tampa want a package built around a young catcher and a power hitting outfielder. Nottingham and Ray plus a couple prospects in the 10-20 range would be fine with me. Ponce and diplan maybe? I don’t think that would be enough though.
  24. I’d be good including Keston in that trade!
