Corey's slide back into first (and Todd Helton's foot) Tuesday night led to injured (and possibly fractured) fingers on his right hand. He's not likely to play again in 2009.

Frank the Cat is with his family because his father-in-law died.

 

Could lead to more Patterson sightings over the next few days...blessedly, the last few days.

I was thinking the same thing last night, bretsky. I don't see what it would hurt, especially with Hart and Catalanotto unavailable and Gerut not hitting too well of late.

You can/t really bring that up the Brewers had Cruz for a while and really didn't do much with them. It was done in the Past let it go let see what Cruz does for the next few years.

Since May 31 Cruz is hitting .235/.317/.477. I doubt Brewer fans would be happier with him over Hart. This possibly, due to Hart's injury, but in 2007 and 2008, Hart was the more valuable player.
