For all you indie hipsters out there.

I was into the Lost Sounds back in the early part of the decade but failed to follow any of his stuff afterwards. He seemed like a talented guy who passed way too soon. I'm curious as to how he passed.

Holy crap! I just saw that show he did at the Riverside on New Year's Eve. Wow. I was kind of into his sound.

There was an article about him in The Reader or AV Club recently. Sounded like he partied pretty hard.....

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Milwaukee was his last show. I almost went, but didnt wanna spend 50 bucks to see him (as Spoon is awful, IMO), The Matador Singles album was the best thing to come out in 2008. Blood Visions is really good too.

The Lost Sounds - Black Wave album is great as well.

Almost bought his newest album yesterday in Madison, but put it back for whatever reason. Which now, is kinda crazy.

Glad I got a chance to see him for free at Atomic a few years ago. RIP.
