Story on the history and current status of the Caribbean World Series, the six-day event set to begin Wednesday 2/2. To our knowledge, the lone Brewer participant will be 40-man roster catcher Martin Maldonado, representing not his home island of Puerto Rico, but the Dominican Republic squad he began playing for after his Puerto Rican league team failed to qualify for the postseason. But we'll keep an eye on boxscores should a surprise Brewer pop up.
