This is already the final spring meeting between the Cubs and Brewers … the clubs met at HoHoKam Park this past Monday, with the Brewers taking a 5-3 victory.

 

The Cubs and Brewers play 16 times during the upcoming regular season, beginning with a three-game set in Milwaukee, April 8-10 … the clubs won’t meet again until a four-game series at Wrigley Field, June 13-16.

I really think the rotation to start the season will be Greinke, Marcum, Wolf, Yo (for the home opener), Narvey. And here's hoping Roenicke gives Rivera a start behind the dish soon. Would love to see him lock up that back up catcher spot.

I'm with you on the Rivera thing. I don't know why he hasn't gotten a start yet. This is the 4th game now. Hopefully he at least gets some playing time in the next game or two. Otherwise, I'm starting to think that they aren't giving him a shot, and he's just slated as insurance at AAA.

sounds to me like Luis Cruz is having a splendid game with a homer and some aggressive base running. Maybe he can build on his winter league performance and be this years spring training uderdog.

Yeah, I think Luis Cruz will definitely grab a backup IF spot. He might end up getting some playing time at SS if Betancourt struggles also.

Anyone else have problems getting the Milwaukee feed on the MLB audio today? I got it on my At Bat app but on the computer it would only give me the Chicago feed eventhough it offered both. Typical early season glitches for MLB
