Way to go MLB. Blacked out for me. Is anybody in the typical blackout zone able to watch the game?

I love how they say it's free, then you click and it's blacked out. If we go to MLB.com using a proxy server in another country or another state, could that bypass the blackout? The blackout is only for Wisconsin right?

We're not allowed to answer that question for legal reasons.

In theory.

It's blacked out in Iowa as well.

It's nice to see how Wolf magically turns into Cy Young when Nieves catches him. Good thing he doesn't have to deal with Lucroy, that young punk.

Day game after night game, excuse now?

We all know why he's not catching. Wolf is a bum. I'm happy to see him get shelled. Can't blame this on Lucroy can you?

The Padres' collective batting average is flirting with the Mendoza line. Why are we giving up so many hits?

Defense probably doesn't help.

well I live in Neenah and couldn't watch it at first due to blackout but I just teleported myself to New York and I am now able to watch the game :-)

Would you stop it already? The backup catcher starting a day game after a night game is almost automatic throughout baseball. Yes, it appears Wolf and Lucroy don't work well together, but so what? Nieves is going to spell Lucroy every few days, and if it works to match Wolf and Nieves, then so be it. It doesn't justify you deciding to run around every Wolf start calling him a prima donna.

I'm watching it but I'd rather not be. Wolf looked bad. He got a bit unlucky on a hit and run. Weeks was covering second, if Betancourt was it was an easy double play. That being said, virtually everything was hit hard by the Padres, who suck on offense by the way.

Kotsay just put all his might behind one...and it almost made the warning track in left.

Kotsay's OPS now below .600.

But he's a veteran so stats don't matter. He's been around the game and knows the ins and outs.

now that the pitcher got a hit Wolf has given up 6 hits for 1 time thru the order
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Which means we have five players in today's lineup with sub-.600 OPSes. The Padres only have four.

Point of interest: Wolf's OPS is almost as high as Nieves'.
