Counsell should have been out though so I suppose it's kind of even.

What?

I think he means the tag that Counsell applied on the pickoff was late. I suppose it makes up for that, except that this play was at home.

horrible horrible baserunning by prince. what a waste.

How is it horrible? If the ump made the correct call, he would've been safe.

no secondary lead, really bad jump. dogged it at first as well.

Ok. I thought you guys were questioning him trying to score on the play. I rewinded the DVR and saw he could've gotten a better jump.

Pitch one, right down the middle just above the knees is a ball. Pitch two is way off the outside corner and is a strike.

Who wastes more opportunities then the crew?

Those kind of innings come back to bite you against good teams.

You just have to score 1 or 2 there.

This strike zone is all over the place... how do you even know what to swing at?

yep. super frustrating to watch. that wasted inning hurts a lot.

I can't tell which is more inaccurate, the FoxTrax or the umpire. Both are missing about 1/2 of the calls.

No, I just mean that the ball beat Counsell by 5 feet and Molina made a swipe tag and missed Counsell because of the outstanding slide. Had Molina bent over more and continued his swipe along the ground he would have tagged Counsell. Instead he missed him.

Basically, if those exact plays are replayed over and over again, I would guess that we'd get 1 run out of the two opportunities most of the time on those decisions.

Hopefully Narvy keeps dealing here even though he's the "weak link" in the Brewers rotation, as Cardinals TV announcer Al Hrabosky said earlier in the game.

I generally dislike the sac bunt; but I like the move there with no outs and Braun and Fielder up next. I feel like 3-0 is a huge upgrade over 2-0 tonight.

ETA: Sac bunts don't matter for home runs...

Brauny!!! He should have watched that one Pujols style.
