This has been one of the most frustrating games in a while for sure. If they don't win they're going to look back at all the golden opportunities they squandered to tack on runs and get out of innings w/ less damage done.

The pitching definitely failed the offense tonight. Every time the offense picked up the pitching, they found a way to give the run(s) right back to them in the next inning.

Lucroy has been awful the last few months too and tonight as well. That at bat and he swung at ball 4 to end the 6th inning.

1/2 an hour ago I was certain the Brewers were going to be up 2 games on the Dbacks at the end of the night. Now it looks as if they will be, in effect, trailing the Dbacks after tonight.

 

Is there anyone on the Brewer coaching staff that could teach Bettancourt how to approach an at bat?
