Who holds the season tiebreaker between STL and ATL?

They would do a play-in game if that's what you are asking. Maybe you were wondering were they would play it, which I don't know.

Lucroy swung at ball 4. I'm surprised he got any lift on that baseball because it was practically on the ground. Kottaras was the percentage play, but Lucroy could have paid off if he didn't decide to swing ahead of time.

St. Louis.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

So the Marlins just acquired Ozzie Guillen? I can't wait to hear his thoughts on Marlins' ownership when things go sour.

I didn't see Lucroy's AB, but keep in mind that with 2 strikes, he needs to swing at anything that looks like it's going to be close.

It almost bounced before he hit it.

no clue how he hit the ball in the air. That should have been a weak ground out

The Dbacks, with 1 out and the bases loaded, strike out twice to end the inning. I guess they're choking. The Dbacks were batting a ridiculous .396 as a team with the bases loaded so far this year. 3-0 Dodgers.

That Lucroy pitch reminds me of an important gameday point. I am pretty sure gameday shows you where the pitch is when it crosses the front of the plate. This is the official definition of a strike, however, in practice it is really where it crosses the batter and that is how it is called. Therefore low pitches always look on the border on gameday but end up lower to the batter, and high pitches may come down to the zone at the batter but look high on gameday.

Again horrible play by the Cards. Error sets up the walkoff. They sac twice to set up 2d and 3d with 1 out and fail both times. Their late surge has been very strange.
