the shift only tends to get noticed when it doesn't work. i'm sure the data is somewhere, but I feel like throughout the course of the season it helped more than it hurt.

Probably not. Yo went into a huge stretch of domination in game one. Only allowing 1 base runner in something like 17 or 18 batters.

Looked it up, it was 14 out of 15 retired in a row, so unless it went, leadoff hit folowed by 3 outs then 123 then an inning with a hit, then 123 and then first 2 outs followed by a hit, then Yo did it.
