Just everything else aside, a catcher putting up monster offensive numbers and a CF'er doing it should PROBABLY tilt the scales towards them. But it should be a three horse race in any event IMO. But I suspect Braun comes in a distant 4th or 5th.

Posey is a shoo-in. Writers LOVE catchers. They can write all kinds of stuff about him being a field general, leader, and other garbage like that.

I don't think it's a consideration (and I hate the Giants and their hypocritical fans). If Prince had tested positive near the end of last year, and writers had tried to say that Braun's season was tainted because of it, I'd have been pretty outraged.
