2013-04-17 Giants (Vogelsong) at Brewers (Lohse), 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 4-3; walkoff a Lalli pop]

[rluzinski]

Too bad we don't have a technology that would allow us to get calls like this right very easily. And all these professional sports leagues have to suffer as a result.

O wait. It's only baseball that insists it's still 1920/

[razzzorsharp]

Yikes, I would throw an official "complaint" or whatever it's called out there if I am RR. This seems like something that easily be reviewed as well.

[brwrsfan]

Blake Lalli??? Really???? Gotta be kidding me.

[danzig6767]

Terrible call. Game over!

How can a call be missed that badly?

[Gobias Industries]

No one wants to mess with cluth yuni

[pebadger]

They're SCARED of Yuni.

OK, maybe it sets up the DP, BUT

They're scared of Yuni.

[Yeti73]

IBB to Yuni ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Second of the year. Scrubs IBB'd him last Monday.

[DannoMac21]

Please Lalli. He's going to screw this up though

[DannoMac21]

Please Lalli. He's going to screw this up though

[Patrick425]

I believe the rule is actually that you have to be going towards the base. Prince was going back towards 2nd when the throw was made. My guess is that is the explanation that the HP umpire gave to Roenicke

[AZBrewCrew]

Game comes down to the mighty Blake Lalli. Please don't GIDP

[brwrsfan]

He was a good 2-3 steps towards third by the time the SS threw the ball. It wasn't even close...how do 4 umpires miss that?

[SRB]

What is the obsession with Blake Lalli???

Yup it mattered so much.

But youre right the entire review would have only paused the game for 20-30 seconds

[pebadger]

Please Lalli. He's going to screw this up though

Successful reverse jinx.

[Oxy]

SF bullpen vs. MIL bullpen? No doubt about it.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Nice bit of hitting by Lalli. No overswing; just get the fly ball deep enough, even to the opposite field is enough.

[The stache]

Wow, LOLalli!

Loss tomorrow and then a sweep of the Cubs puts us at one game under .500 by Sunday!
