Yes. Yes. Yes!!!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Honestly though, why are pitchers not taking at bats like that all the time? Choke up, foul stuff off and just snap your wrists and put it out there. Great job.

We need more batters whos names end in yle. They are just so clutch.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

great half inning for the crew. you do have to wonder if there is a place where Lynn could locate his first pitch to Gomez that wouldn't cause Carlos to offer at it. First pitch of the game nearly hit him and he swung, and then he threw one about 3 feet wide of the plate in that last at-bat and Carlos swung again.

This Brewer lineup reminds me so much of the Cards' scrub lineups that terrorized this message board. Aaron Miles, Skip Schumaker, Nick Punto, So Taguchi....you'd see the lineup posted and think, "OK, the Brewers can't lose this game, right?" 4 hours later your wife is wondering why you're screaming profanities in a dark room at your computer
