Kintzler got squeezed a little by the ump at the end. But you can't serve up balls like that to a guy like Encarnarcion. A walk doesn't kill you. A meat ball to a power guy like that does (and did).

Yeah...the 4th pitch should have been a strike to even it up at 2-2...Gameday had it completely in the zone.

But...he still might serve up that meatball.....

You gotta' be smart to win games sometimes. Today, Brewers coaching staff was not smart. No way should Kintzler be pitching in crucial situations!

BK is not good. Hasn't been good for awhile. I'm not sure who else was available, but I do not like how Ron continually uses BK in big spots. He should have learned by now not to do that.

The alternative right now is Wooten....ouch. They are really missing a healthy Thornburg and Henderson. Bring up Nelson to start, move Marco to the pen and start using Gorzelanny in high leverage situations. My goodness Kintzler/Wooten combo isn't getting it done.

I guess I didn't realize that Herrera should've actually caught the ball. It hit his mit a foot off the ground. I don't care if he was a catcher or a fan. That's just plain bad hand/eye coordination.

Not having another RHP in the pen will kill this team down the stretch. A move has to be done. Let's see what Jeffrees can do.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I agree it would be Nice to have a OF like Schaffer here who a defensive specialist. But Geez enough with Kitnzer time is needed in Nashville for him. The Brewers gave away 2 game this week and they better get together and get ready for the Reds who are going to be pushing for the top spot in the Central. The Bullpen does need some tweaking and something has to be done with the bench can't have the current configurations.

I figure the Brewers need about 770.0 IP over the rest of the season. Any way that Will Smith could pitch all 770.0 of those? Is it possible? (I guess you can let Lohse start sometimes).

Kintzler is RRR's guy. Simple as that.

For what it's worth, RR was already ejected and Narron was managing at that point in the game.

Do you think that RRR is no longer calling the shots when he is ejected? My bet is that every decision made when a manager gets tossed is still his call.

Not sure. I am just saying that RR was out of the game at that point. It's conceivable that it wasn't him though I am not saying it's likely.

Was listening to the Jays radio broadcast via XM on the way back from the airport this morning. I kinda like how they broadcast the batter from the stadium PA over the broadcast

I think Brandon Kintzler shouldn't have come off the DL list. But that's just my opinion. :laughing
