That is pretty remarkable. Innings 7-9 might be influenced by our horrendous bench (at least for most of the season), but it still seems like they are inordinately good the first time through the order.

The stats probably won't bear this out but it seems like K-Rod gives up a home run every single outing that I have seen him pitch in the last few months.

Hard to knock Krod much. Mcutcheon may be the best, or near best hitter in baseball. When they keep fouling, you know you are in trouble. KRod took him ten pitches in.
