    Too many better options if Sproat is going to be that bad out of the bullpen. Stallings, Koenig, find a 40-man spot and give some innings to Cam Wagoner. Similarly for the September additions, Naylor has played one game (and stunk). Could we not get more usage out of Lockridge, or anyone else? That said, we're now complaining about the 27th and 28th roster spots after a sweep. I love when that's the top of the list of things to complain about.

    Was just thinking that there's no "last man on the bench" or "DFA fodder" in the bullpen. The bench last night consisted of Vaughn, Ortiz, and Frelick rather than a Perkins or whoever that guy we-DFA'd earlier in the week was where they play so sporadically you forget they're even on the team. So a bunch of players people complain should be in the lineup. Since Bryse Wilson has earned a spot, it might be another Anderson option to get Abner and Jojo into the bullpen. And depth behind them should they choose to rest some arms.

    I'd be inclined to hold onto him this offseason too. Given he will be 33, can't see another team giving us enough of a return that would make it worth losing a year of his services.
