As the article highlights Vogelbach's below average defense I figured I'd drop a tidbit that I believe our own David Denson has to the potential to be average at 1B. He started very poorly but made noticeable strides during the season on scoops and was generally much better around the bag by season's end even though he missed significant time with that broken bone. He's more athletic than you would think from first glance.
