I guess this is good news for the Brewers as it looks more and more likely they won't finish last in the division in 2015.

If they are selling these guys off you would think they would go all the way and try to unload whoever they can of Bruce, Votto, and Phillips. I would take Frazier off their hands. Votto is probably impossible to trade but they could get rid of the other two.

They've been shopping Bruce for a while if I'm not mistaken and I think they tried with BP as well. There's always the deadline.

They have some good young players, and a few in their farm system, so they should simply restock for 2016-17.

 

Too bad (for them) they won't be able to unload Votto or Bailey or Brandon Phillips.

I think this quote sums up the small market mentality better than any I've ever seen. Frankly, the Yanks don't care as they have more money than God.
