UC-Irvine pitcher Wes Ethridge has retired the last 15 against Wichita State. Has a nasty fastball with strong downward movement. Hasn't had a ball leave the infield thru 5 innings.

A dandy of a pitching performance ruined in the 9th...sounds familiar. Seriously though, the kid doesn't look bad. Not a lot of velocity but his fastball really bites down. Pretty decent looking sinkerballer.
