Well, a gift error keeps the no-hitter alive.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

haha that can't be an error.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I don't think it'll be changed to a hit unless there's another hit.

That is an official scorer letting emotions do their job.

How many times has Rock brought up the CC debacle? I can't listen to the game. In a class.

I don't have a huge problem with that being ruled an error. It was a fairly routine comebacker and he booted it right off his glove. It was a play that should have been made.

Rock brought it the CC thing once, but he only mentioned Pittsburgh and not Sabathia.

The ball was hit sharply to the mound. Ureña blocked it but couldn't handle it to make the throw.

There is a pretty long standing unwritten rule that the first hit of the game should be a "clean" hit. If there is some question you rule it an error. The scorer is just following that so I can't blame him

Obviously, it's just a slip of the tongue, but Bill just said "urea" instead of "Ureña."

No hitter gone on a blooper by Luc.

Might as well toss another error on the board. Second should've caught that.

I rewound to be sure, but Dietrich didn't touch that ball.

There are three hits now, so it doesn't really matter.

Bill just said urea again.

Villar swung at ball four. Was really hoping to see Braun in a fun situation.

Had the no-hitter been completed, this would have been the first time that a triple play occurred in a no-hitter.
