Yea, this is generally true. However, I had seats on the glass right to the side of the Wild tendy those few years ago and the view was amazing.  We were also right next to the doors where the Wild girls came out to shovel snow...also not a bad perk.  Ha.

My season tickets for the Badgers are right on the goaline about 15 rows up and the view is awesome.  Only trouble is seeing the far near corner, so the jumbotron gets my eyes for those few seconds.

Sounds awesome and I am happy to hear you enjoyed it!

The seats on the glass at the the Dane County Coliseum were awesome.  Of course that was before nets along the side, low glass, and being in the band 😉

Till tonight Scarfone hasn't been terrible but he hasn't been great either.

Last year Mclelland was so good that he won quite a few games with his goal tending.

Nice comeback win tonight.

Down two goals halfway through and scored the last three to win in regulation.

Be nice to win tomorrow and get the sweep while I'm there.

After Hastings called out Michigan for a dirty play last night, I would expect a little extra intensity tonight. Should be a good one. Go Badgers!

Good crowd. Need to not dig a big hole.

Not an ideal way to start this one

Ugly. Saturdays this year they have really struggled.

Last year they were great.

They are set up for another exciting comeback victory

I'm not feeling it.  I think it gets ugly.

Anyone care to explain the difference between the USCHO rankings and the Pairwise to a novice?

Fun game last night, despite the shootout loss.

Pairwise is the computer ranking and all that matters. The USCHO ranking is just like...hockey dudes ranking the top 20.

Speaking of pairwise...Bucky at 16. Need to be top 15 to even have a shot at a special. 12 to be safe imo.

Another Saturday OT game. That's 6 of 7 home games.

I'm going to bring a shaman to the next Saturday night game to see if he can lift the Saturday evening curse.

My impression from afar with the Granato-era was that he was kind of running a hockey version of Kentucky basketball, bringing in a bunch of future 1st round picks. They would struggle to gel, and to play against men, and then they would leave for the NHL before developing as a team. Is that accurate? Hastings looks like he's running a proper program again?

I would say that's fair but the flip side is I'm not sure he's ever going to be able to get enough high-end goal scoring to win a natty.

His teams will always be solid five on five squads and he is a bit of a Bo Ryan on ice type coach.

I think one of the big reasons we struggle in three on theees is we just don't have enough guys that can create with the puck.

All in all I am damn glad we got him.

Yep.  I say this every time we go to OT.  They just don't have enough scorers.  Last year's team had a bunch and the older guys knew how to score.

A guy from my hometown played for Hastings in Juniors, and the first thing Hastings said was, 'If you don't want to play on this end of the ice you can leave.' As he pointed to the D zone.  So you can kind of see what kind of game he likes to play.

Tough weekend.

Badgers probably need to win out the regular season or maybe got 5-1 with a good showing in the first round of the BIG10 tourny to be on the inside of the bubble.  And even that might not get it done.
