I guess the move happened during the off-season, but was just announced tonight by August.

 

He has an interesting resume, most recently a contributor to Fangraphs.

Always liked August's stuff at FanGraphs. When he left they said it was to take a job with a team, cool to see it was the Brewers.

It's not quite like the time the Brewers hired Rachel (? - I think that was her name) to be part of their grounds-keeping staff years ago, since that news made the transaction wire, but good news nonetheless.
