I'm just wondering if anybody has heard anything regarding his rehab. He had his rotator cuff surgery in April of '16, so I was hoping he might be ready to pitch this summer.

No news has been released on him at all, sorry.

I have asked a couple of people and not received a response. That he's not on the AZL roster's 60-day DL at least offers a glimmer of hope that he may return this season.

Unsigned minor league free agent, no longer Brewers' property. Hope he makes it back to health and some prominence.

After Google bore no fruit, I decided to try to find him on facebook for some kind of news. It appears he had another shoulder surgery in June of 2017, so evidently there was a setback from his rotator cuff operation from April of 2016. He had a post in July of his rehab, doing the pulley thing at the end of July. To me that indicates maybe he can throw this year, but who knows what he'll be like. I had my rotator surgery in September of 2016 and it took at least a year before I could, or would even dare to throw something fairly hard again. As Mass said, hopefully he regains health and form, wherever it may be.
