  1. There are a few pitchers on the rule five list that could probably bring something back. I wouldn’t mind trading a few of those before they just get lost next winter. Not Wich, I would put him on the 40 man roster before the real five draft.

  3. 69 is always a good number!
  4. 1. Dinges. He is valuable because he is a catcher. The only problem is he rarely plays that position. 2. Fischer/Burke. They are redundant. Almost the same player. Whichever the organization likes the best, trade the other.
  5. I am ready to move on from Brock Wilkin. If they want to move up blake Burke to AAA then Fisher could slide in AA. Practice has not done anything since he was hitting the face, it’s really sad. He was one of my favorite draft picks.
  6. All I am saying is there is above a 50% chance he is injured by the middle of July.
  7. Put him on the blocks now because he is healthy!
  8. With The signing of Lara, do we try to sell GM at his high point (not on the injured list)? For me, he strikes out too much so if I could get anything worth a 1.0-1.5 WAR player back or a pretty good prospect (non top 100 somewhere in a teams 8-15 prospect list) back I would be happy.
  9. I would offer it. The worst you can do is say no. Maybe you make a counter offer a little higher.
  10. I would give him a two-year contract. Two years $12 million. I don’t need to see anymore with my eyes to know that he can hit. Something we’ve been looking for in the first place for a long time.
  11. Maybe something like a two-year contract for between six and $7 million. Add on a team option for something like eight or 9 million for one year. 13 million for two years is not a bad investment for someone who has proven for almost a year that he can hit professional baseball.
  12. I love the power combination between Vaughn and Bauers and paying them $20 mill for that duo would be relatively cheap in todays market.
  13. Does anybody offered Jake Bowers a four year $18 million contract extension right now I’m thinking it would be well worth it. He can play first, DH, play their corner outfield. I think he is found what he needs to be productive.
  14. Here is an interesting fact so far this season. There are three teams in all of MLB with more than 20 wins against teams with a better than a better than 500 record . The Cubs have the most wins with a 25-20 record. The Brewers have the second mosts wins with a 23-12 record and the Pirates are third with a 20-19 record. The Dodgers only have a 15-9 record. It looks like the Cubs have played a lot of quality teams so far, but the Brewers are not far behind while it looks like the Dodgers have had it relatively easy so far.
  15. Does anybody know anything about Luis Peña and his current condition?

  17. I have replace markers with actual pitchers to make it easier on the eyes. This 25 day rotation does not include Zastryzny, Anderson, Coleman, Dhohan, Peralta, Sproat, or Rodriquez. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Game 1 Ashby Ashby Ashby Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Megill Game 2 Zerpa Zerpa Zerpa Priester Priester Priester Priester Priester Uribe Game 3 Harrison Harrison Harrison Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Hall Megill Game 4 Ashby Ashby Ashby Patrick Patrick Patrick Patrick Gasser Uribe Game 5 Zerpa Zerpa Zerpa Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Megill Koenig Game 6 Harrison Harrison Harrison Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Game 7 Hall Hall Hall Priester Priester Priester Priester Priester Koenig Game 8 Gasser Gasser Gasser Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Megill Game 9 Ashby Ashby Ashby Patrick Patrick Patrick Patrick Koenig Uribe Game 10 Zerpa Zerpa Zerpa Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Hall Gasser Game 11 Harrison Harrison Harrison Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Koenig Game 12 Ashby Ashby Ashby Priester Priester Priester Priester Priester Priester Game 13 Zerpa Zerpa Zerpa Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Megill Game 14 Harrison Harrison Harrison Patrick Patrick Patrick Patrick Megill Uribe Game 15 Hall Hall Hall Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Koenig Game 16 Gasser Gasser Gasser Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Megill Uribe Game 17 Ashby Ashby Ashby Priester Priester Priester Priester Priester Koenig Game 18 Zerpa Zerpa Zerpa Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Hall Megill Game 19 Harrison Harrison Harrison Patrick Patrick Patrick Patrick Gasser Uribe Game 20 Ashby Ashby Ashby Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Koenig Megill Game 21 Zerpa Zerpa Zerpa Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Woodruff Game 22 Harrison Harrison Harrison Priester Priester Priester Priester Priester Uribe Game 23 Hall Hall Hall Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Misiorowski Game 24 Gasser Gasser Gasser Patrick Patrick Patrick Patrick Patrick Uribe Game 25 Ashby Ashby Ashby Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Henderson Koenig
  18. A piggyback works if you do not align the openers with the starters. here it goes, three opener who try to go three innings (12 batters, 9 outs , 45 pitches). The five starters come in hopefully at the start of the 4th inning and go (hopefully) five innings. That cover 8 innings. The openers will get warn out you say, but no, this is where the swing pitchers come in. The openers only go through their rotation twice, then these swing pitchers come in for Games 7 and 8 giving the openers 6 innings every 8 days. Doable. These swing pitchers are only getting 3 innings every 8 days at the front end of the game, so they can be used at the back end of games at least a couple of time every 8 days. Doable. that is five pitcher covering the first three inning every 8 days and then a couple of more innings at the end of games If the starts can cover innings 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 we are golden, only the 9th inning to be covered by 3 closers. I think everyone would agree that our starts can make it at least 4 to 4+ innings per start. the closers finish the 8th inning and close the game in the 9th. Remember that we still have the swing pitchers to help out if their is a starter that falters. Check out the chart below to get an idea of a 25 day rotation. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Game 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Closer 1 Game 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Closer 2 Game 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Swing 1 Closer 1 Game 4 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Swing 2 Closer 2 Game 5 Opener 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Closer 1 Closer 3 Game 6 Opener 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Game 7 Swing 1 Swing 1 Swing 1 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Closer 3 Game 8 Swing 2 Swing 2 Swing 2 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Closer 1 Game 9 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Closer 3 Closer 2 Game 10 Opener 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Swing 1 Swing 2 Game 11 Opener 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Closer 3 Game 12 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Game 13 Opener 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Closer 1 Game 14 Opener 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Closer 1 Closer 2 Game 15 Swing 1 Swing 1 Swing 1 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Closer 3 Game 16 Swing 2 Swing 2 Swing 2 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Closer 1 Closer 2 Game 17 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Closer 3 Game 18 Opener 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Swing 1 Closer 1 Game 19 Opener 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Swing 2 Closer 2 Game 20 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Closer 3 Closer 1 Game 21 Opener 2 Opener 2 Opener 2 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Starter 1 Game 22 Opener 3 Opener 3 Opener 3 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Starter 2 Closer 2 Game 23 Swing 1 Swing 1 Swing 1 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Starter 3 Game 24 Swing 2 Swing 2 Swing 2 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Starter 4 Closer 2 Game 25 Opener 1 Opener 1 Opener 1 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Starter 5 Closer 3
  19. Plan A 2B Williams .972/Hamilton .976, SS Turang .978, 3B Ortiz .971 Plan B (Mid Season) 2B Turang .987, SS Pratt .973, 3B Ortiz .971 Plan C Make a trade at the trade deadline No matter what you can say about Ortiz, he is our best fielding SS and 3B which puts him at 3B because no one else is close to his defensive ability. If Pratt can put up decent offensive numbers in Nashville there is almost no reason to not bring him up mid season. If he doesn't hit at AAA go to plan C.
  20. The 2026 Brewers kind of remind me of the Baltimore Orioles of 3-4 years ago. Tons of talent in the minors., but unwilling to let any of it go. The Brewers just need to manage this talent wisely. I have tons of confidence in our front office to do this.
  21. Count me as worried. There are a few UFA available that could make for a back up plan or maybe Parades if he doesn’t cost too much.
  22. Or maybe Luis Rengifo who is a UFA. I love switch hitters and he should not be too expensive. He ight be really happy playing in a winning organization. I think the cost would be around $5 million.
  23. Maybe four pair of piggys and one old fashions starter (my choice would be Woodruff) to try to go 6. That leave 4 in the pen.
