2018-09-12: Brewers (Anderson) at Cubs (Hendricks) 7:05 PM CDT [Brewers win, 5-1 -- Granderson 3-for-4 including 3B, HR]

[Eye Black]

Santana picked a great time for a double! Time to capitalize boys!!

[phnxcrew]

Javy Baez is exciting to watch. Wish Arcia turned out more like him.

Obviously Arcia being like him would be great, but MVP? I guess there's no one with dominating numbers to change the big market loving voter's minds

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Ok Yelich ... knock a single here.

[topper09er]

MVP moment opportunity here

[PinaMadness]

That wide of a strike zone doesn't help either.

[Eye Black]

Four straight balls to Yelich, 3-1 count.

[topper09er]

Is Tom Glavine pitching?

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Chavez wanted nothing to do with Yelich there.

[Bigblast]

CC is a real liability to the Brewers in these close games where some smarts in critical moments are necessary.

I think he cc has managing has won more games then lost in these situations. As Adam McCalvy said the fans of every single team in baseball thinks their manager doesn't know how to manage the pullben.

[PinaMadness]

Yeah, work around Yelich to get to Cain. Works for me. Edited September 13, 2018 by PinaMadness

[shanedog19]

Hoping Cain comes through here because I don't have confidence in the guys behind him.

[Lathund]

Holy crap, I just looked up Granderson's stats and he hit 23 (!!!) triples in 2007. Highest total since 1949 (23), and last time someone hit more than that was in 1925.

[HarveysWBs]

Umm, strike zone much?

Pretty sure Jimmy Rollins had 20 triples also that year

[PinaMadness]

This ump's K zone this inning is horrid.

[Eye Black]

What a huge spot in this game.

[wallus]

Win or lose, this series has been really fun to watch.

[shanedog19]

OMG thought we had one there!!

[dlk9s]

Rats. Cubs outfielders have gotten some good jumps tonight.

[adambr2]

Tough to leave that insurance out there. For the most part this series, just can't get that big hit when we need it most.

[topper09er]

So much excitement when that ball was in the air, like I am a child on CHristmas...ahh baseball is so great

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Oh man ... Brewers have had a few hard-hit balls tonight that the defenders just barely got to.

[Eye Black]

OMG thought we had one there!!

Yeah, I was cheering like a Cubs fan on fly ball on that liner.

[PinaMadness]

I find it more fun when we're up by 10.

Yeah, I was cheering like a Cubs fan on fly ball on that liner.

Initially cheering for a hard hit line drive in the gap is WAAYYYY different than cheering for a lazy 200 foot fly ball that will get down 1 out of 100 times.
