No way was Jesus getting a hit there...Leave him on the bench to gather himself. If someone says they need a day off for mental reasons, don't sue them in a high leverage at bat, with the game on the line.

Well, again, he asked for the day off because he was mentally in need of a day off. Is that the best time to use him in that situation Mr. Snarkypants?

 

Are we sure Aguilar didn’t just tell CC he’s good? We have less than 1% of the information here, that’s my whole point.

I said I was on the Braun side too. Just saying it's not like Jesus was there today saying I'm so spent I'm incapable of playing. He's a competitor. But I get the point, he basically said he feels off so probably use the other MVP instead if he's available
