Coach Cooper always preached that when on 2B, if the ball is hit in front of you, and no one on 1B, you don't go. Coach Cooper would not be pleased with Moose on that play.

Yelich is camping in Schildt's head. I get that this is a near must-win for STL, but burning a lefty when you have Shaw and Moose also in the lineup in the 5th inning of a tie game is...weird.
