Anyone who listened to his interview with Rogers would likely concur, what an impressive young man. In some respects it is easy to see why this selection was made. He said all the right things at 18 years of age...interesting kid. He sounded like a quick sign.

I agree that Rogers was impressive.

 

Unfortunately, Powell mentioned later during the broadcast that Rogers reminds him a lot of J.M. Gold. The kiss of death for any prospect.

I was crossing my fingers when I listened to Powell compare Rogers to Gold. I hope that wards off the evil spectors that cursed Gold.
