Wasn't there an incident a few years ago with Cole and Braun maybe? When Cole was a Pirate, didn't he do some douche-like move against us? I can't remember what it was exactly, but it seems like his dickness has happened before, against our own team...

He got real offended by Carlos Gomez. Gomez watched a ball for a second, ended up going off the wall, Gomez got a triple, and Cole was ticked off.

 

I don’t recall a Braun incident, but wouldn’t shock me. I can’t recall if Cole retaliated after that.

He got real offended by Carlos Gomez. Gomez watched a ball for a second, ended up going off the wall, Gomez got a triple, and Cole was ticked off.

 

I don’t recall a Braun incident, but wouldn’t shock me. I can’t recall if Cole retaliated after that.

 

My memory is telling me that he maybe threw at someone, maybe it was Braun after Gomez ticked him off...I just don't remember, but something happened that made me think of Cole as a bit punkish all this time...

The Gomez thing caused a bench clearing brawl. Maldonado sucker punched someone. It was pretty intense. I remember Cole walking over to third to curse out Gomez...chaos ensued.
