Under .500 tournament

Our softball tournament team is running a .500 and under softball tournament. It's only for teams that have a losing record in their leagues. Would the bfnet.com team be interested in getting in? Here is the info I do have, and will be able to answer any additional questions you may have.

 

August 4 and 5 (probably will be just the 4th though)

 

$125 entry fee (I have to double check, but am pretty sure this is right.

 

Played at Schowalter Park in Saukville (less than 5 minutes off of 43)

 

No home runs allowed (300 foot fences)

 

Plenty of good food and cold beer!!!

Which county league is your team in? We will not allow an under .500 team from the Power League, or a couple other leagues. We are trying to keep this as even as possible.

I'm in the Estabrook/Kern Twilight league on Tuesdays. My team is The Pub. You can view the standings on the Milwaukee County softball website. I'll give him a call. Thanks. I hope there is room and I can get everyone to show on short notice. Should be fun. It would be our first tourney as a team.

It will be a one-day tournament, unless we get 13 or more teams. As of Saturday, there were 10 teams signed up.

I can no longer make it to this tourny if we were going to get in it. It looks doubtful that we would at this point anyways. Just thought I would let you guys know if there was some last minute interest.
