Baseball is the greatest sport.....that is why they play 162

The best thing about baseball in my opinion is the long 6 month 162 game season where you get to watch and listen to your favorite team 6-7 days a week. Over the course of 6 months you are going to have some highs and lows....it is part of the game. I can be dissapointed that we lost 2 out of 3 in Washington but I can also be happy we took 2 out of 3 in Detroit (especially after seeing the mighty Boston Red Sox get swept there this weekend)

Getting to watch Prince, Rickie, JJ and Ryan in the infield at the same time

 

Experiencing a pennant race in the second half of the season for the first time I can actually remember

 

I can't wait for Friday night when the Crew takes the field at MIller Park to start the second half.....Let the playoff chase begin!

I would like baseball a lot better right now if it was an 88 game season.
