Jackie Bradley jr.... another great signing. I’d love him to prove me wrong but he seems to have joined all others in being below replacement level.

He hasn’t been good so far this season, but of all nights tonight probably isn’t the one to get extra down on him. He made a nice play to catch a line drive earlier, and has absolutely scolded three balls tonight.

 

Those baseballs better start behaving.

As someone who was frustrated at Hader’s usage in the bottom of the 9th in Miami in the 1-1 tie game, I will say I think it’s much more understandable to use him in the 9th at home (when you still have an at bat in the bottom of the 9th), especially with the Cardinals middle of the order up.
