@Haudricourt

I am told by official scorer Tim O'Driscoll that Narvaez cannot get a sacrifice fly on foul infield pop. He does get an RBI however. And Escobar follows with RBI single to put #Brewers ahead 4-3. This is one crazy rally.

Weird that he still gets the RBI. So is it an 0 for 0 AB, or 0 for 1?

Brent Suter is a great guy, wonderful teammate, extremely fortunate in racking up wins, BUT I find him frightening in close games ... too much contact given up -- doesn't put fear in lefties much, either, of course.

I think the league has gotten used to his speedy tactics, too, and know how to deal with it or neutralize it by stepping out of the box when needed.

He can't get a W unless he lets them tie it first...

Epic FARTSLAM by the Nats + heads up baserunning by Wong. Good stuff. Suter sets himself up for win #13.

Very true ... he is going according to (his personal?) plan, then! :laughing

It may have happened before, but my scorebook has never had an F3 RBI.

I’m sure it’s happened many times on balls hit down the line where the 1B is running with his back to the plate. But I’ve never seen one that close to the plate.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Well, that was one dumb base running display.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

If is impossible to quantify how bad JBJ has been and that's before you find out he has made 12 million dollars for this trash season. Worst contract in the sport given the pay.
